My daughter is an electrical officer on a carrier. Recently I asked her what her duties were. She answered, “To fix electrical problems.” When I asked what was considered an electrical problem on a carrier, she replied, “Anything you can’t fix with a hammer.”

Why Does it Make Financial Sense to Train Through Classes at a Vocational School?
More and more people every year are going to school for degrees in higher education in such areas as history, sociology, or philosophy. But what do students do with those degrees after they have finished their schooling? Something totally irrelevant to what they were studying. Many of these former liberal arts students have large amounts in student loans to repay and often, students are not able to start their careers immediately after graduating college.
